Kitten chewing cords

Does anyone have a suggestion for a spray deterrant product for cords that our kitten wants to chew? We have so many attached to TV area , etc. I can put up my phone chargers but not our entertainment area. Thx!

Have you tried putting cat-friendly plants around the area? it could deter your kitty from chewing cords.

1. Bitter apple comes in a spray, you can find it at places like PetCo.  Works for some, not for others.

2.  Vaseline - rub it along the cords.  Cats do not like the feel / taste of it.  Note:  this WILL attract and catch every single dust bunny in the room - house -  neighborhood - state!!!  This is what I did, the vaseline.

3.  Go to a big box DIY store and buy some PVC pipe, run the cords through that.  (Pick up a pipe cutter if you don't already have one).  It is easy to cut to the lengths you need. 

4.  Buy ready made cord protectors.

That's all I can think of as options!

Instead of PVC pipe, you can also use aquarium tubing or something similar from the hardware store. Make sure the tubing is thick enough to protect the cords and prevent a kitten from chewing through.

What stopped my Aby from chewing on cords was getting him a friend to play with. Maybe another kitten would help in your situation.
