Mother Nature deserves a round of applause for her snow days.

Beautiful pictures.

You don't really have "snow" until it's up to your butt!

This first pic was taken two yrs ago but it's the same outside today.

And while the daddy unit was outside shovellin' all that white stuff out of the driveway the two people owners were inside nice and snuggly warm supervising the whole operation.

The drift at the end of the driveway yesterday was up to my waist - I'm 5'8" & "all legs"....so that was funny. What was not so funny was when I lost my boot in it & had to dig it out in one booted foot.

I lost my boot with sock in it the other day Nat, never fun

Some of my photos, I haven't taken any since the bigger snow Friday except a few of our parking lot Friday night

I will take my camera with me tomorrow and try to get some at the shelter

Oh I wish it would snow here on Christmas Eve! I have never had a white Christmas unless you count the frost we have in the mornings.

Last time it snowed here was Jan 1999

There's no place like home
We've only had a little bit of snow this year and the rain melted it the other day. But here are some snow pictures from years past:

Here... or There... Hmmm
We got hit hard here Friday and then again tonight.... We were down to cement on the sidewalk... but not when we finally got outside. Blizzard warnings kept us indoors... Here I am standing behind the snowblower... 2 feet of snow on my side and about 1 foot behind where it blowed from.

It sucked!

Can you count how many cars made it uphill?

I saw the Streetcar go by, I wonder where that is... hmmm.... so many trying and so little just not making it. I noted that it was posted on the 16th... I wonder if anyone tried it this morning? I doubt even the ones who made it in the video would have made that hill today... just like around here...

I had 1/4 inch ice on my car... and it was thicker over the snow... about 1/2 to 3/4 inch...

I was in Portland during the 2004 storm. Apartment ridden for 4 days! It was insane!

I think most of the cars/trucks that made were 4 wheel drive...
