My MIL bought me the most HIDEOUS granny nightgown/robe for X-mas last year...I told myself..."Not in a million years." And then I find myself loafing about the house in it yesterday.
I think that this was a great post, it was the thought that counts.Originally Posted by Natalie_ca

Kiss him and thank him. Model it for him. Then say it's really warm and you will put it away for when the weather is cooler. Then shove it in the back of a drawer and forget about it
You don't want to appear ungrateful or hurt his feelings. Pretend, pretend, pretend
My Mom often laughs about the pair of panties that her MIL gave her at her wedding shower. They were too big. (It even pissed Dad off that his mother would do that!) Mom thanked her and put them in the bottom of her underwear drawer. Int he final month of her pregnancy with me she pulled them out and finally wore them.Originally Posted by lookingglass

He just got home and explained that I DON'T have to wear it. Oh, when she comes over next I am totally putting it on and I'll dress it up too!
I'm off to find the matching hat!
Oh, thank goodness!Originally Posted by lookingglass
