Its Snowing!!!

We are under a lake effect snow warning where I work.  Not much snow but it is the fine stuff that freezes.  Of course ODOT is pathetic in making the roads safe.  We were at 65 degrees yesterday morning with rain.  The temp dropped to the high 20's so all the rain froze and there was NO crews out making the roads safe.  Snow is one thing to drive in but ice is an entirely different beast.

I grew up near Chicago, so I saw tons of snow as a kid.  Now I live on the Oregon coast and we just get occasional "novelty snow" - an inch or two that is gone in a day or two.  that's my kind of snow!

I live with my 87 year old father.  Obviously he cannot live on  his own so I take care of him.  He is feeling "under the weather"...was throwing up and is shaky.  I had to call off work because I need to be there in case something happens.

We have, in my city, sunshine among the clouds.  Where I work has at least 8" of snow.

I live on Ohio we are supposed to get 2-3 inches by morning. YUCK !
