And yes, it always happens when you least expect itDon't be afraid to have a couple of drinks though, a couple definitely will not harm the baby. Just don't do anything silly, and make sure you look after yourself after that.
And I'm 15 weeks along, so if you have any questions or want to know if anything's "normal" PM me
I'm sorry but I really have to disagree. Drinking while pregnant is not safe for a developing fetus, especially during the first trimester when the brain and other important systems are being developed.Originally Posted by kittydad
Congrats. My sister had her first child on her husband's birthday. Talk about a great present. Anyways, do look after yourself, and you can still have a couple of drinks in the near future. Congrats again.
Yes thank you! I will pm you if i have any questions. I am also going to have to agree with you when it comes to drinking. I will not be drinking alcohol what so ever. i had a miscarriage before, and I dont want to do anything to risk loosing this one!!Originally Posted by IloveSiamese

My grandparents were foster parents for many years and we have taken care of many children with fetal alcohol syndrom or Fetal alcohol effects because people think "oh just a little bit is ok".
My mother is also a RN and works on promoting healthy pregnancies and it is just not safe. We do not know how much or when, if it safe at all, to do so, so please don't risk it.
