Well, since most of you are F people, it got to 119 here in MontrÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]al yesterday!!! And then last night we had a huge storm. The humidity is what really kills though, living on an Island has it's down points...

It's almost 9:00 AM, and already 86 in the shade. It's supposed to get over 100 today.

It was still 87 at 11:00 last night. It's already 84 this morning and we're headed for a high of 96 with a heat index of 110. I'm so ready for fall!

Right now its 77 (25) dewpoint is still high though so its still a bit muggy!!
Have had a headache since last night-don't know if its heat related or not.
We got 1/2 rain around 3:30 am. Still lots better than this time yesterday.

The bank clock next door shows that it is 105 degrees out at noon here in Danvers, MA. The heat index is supposed to be somewhere over 115 degrees.

Gee whiz, I think I might have to sleep at my office tonight! I wonder how Ginger is doing at home in this heat - I have no a/c, just fans!

Today its 32 (90) but feels like 44 (111). Theres a severe thunderstorm watch for my county right now. I hope it does because rain always cools everything down. I need to clean and finish my laundry but it is just too hot. I did laundry all day yesterday which made it that much hotter in here. This morning I heard on the radio that yesterday was Ontario's record for the most power used.

well. today @ 1pm it's 95 fahrenheit, heat index is 99F, & winds @ 20 mph. still no rain...& the national weather service has issued a "red flag warning" - [see below]. so it's not just hot & dry, which is normal for here!

A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING.

RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL INTO THE 25 TO 35 PERCENT RANGE THIS AFTERNOON... WITH SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS BETWEEN 15 AND 25 MPH.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE EXPLOSIVE FIRE GROWTH POTENTIAL.

A SEVERE TO EXTREME DROUGHT CONTINUES ACROSS NORTH TEXAS...SOME OF THE WORST DROUGHT CONDITIONS ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF NORTH TEXAS. THE RED FLAG WARNING AREA WILL SEE A COMBINATION OF VERY DRY CONDITIONS...AND STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS.
