I think they did for a few minutes... and i have no door in my laundry room so i put up a baby gate and she jumps over it. But as of now shes laying with the babies
I havent moved her to the bathroom yet. One kitten is asleep and another is nursing so ill try and wait until its done or she geta restless again. I think theres more to come still. When she layed in the kitchen you could see her belly doing rolls like when the babies were moving
Sorry for the delay. She just had baby number 3 and is relaxing finally and feeding all of them. Maybe she was just having a hard time seeing as it took almost 6 hours in between the last two.
No i hadnt moved her yet. Shes okay now ill probably move her later before i go to bed. Im 8 months preg myself and i tried to bed over but hurt my back so when my husband gets home I'll have him relocate them.... but i think shes all done she was vwry restless earlier. Now she is very calm only moves to get a drink of water and goes right back to babies. so happy shes good now she had me very nervous
She doesn't need to be moved to the bathroom and closed in if she's staying with her babies. However, she will need to come out of the cage soon because the kittens can get their heads stuck in the openings in the cage wires, which can be very dangerous. We've had some sad stories.
Do you have a box or bin to put them in that's big enough for mom to stretch out in for nursing? Even a closet would work. Wherever you put her, just make sure her food, water, and litter are close by for now.
And has she eaten since giving birth? She'll need some wet food tonight.
Goodness! You'll have your own baby to worry over soon! [emoji]128149[/emoji]
