Whatever the pile shaped thing was...it hardened up and fell off...day 63/64 no signs...but she has nested in my wardrobe the last 24 hrs...still eating. X

2 kittens so far...though only 1 placenta...looks like she's gone for a sleep!

Very nice!

Have you weighed the kittens? Do they have a heat source besides mom, such as a heating pad set on low under the blanket?

It looks like a sac, but hard to say for sure. Has anything emerged yet?

No she's sleeping...she is very relaxed...3rd 1 she had laying down like this...but seems she's taking a long time between kittens now

That's great! Time will tell if there's another one. Offer her food and drink in her nest today so she does not have to get up and leave her kittens right away.

Mom does not need to go to the vet unless she seems to be in distress or is pushing with no result.

Agreed. No vet visit necessary unless she is in distress. If she has another kitten it will come when the kitten and mom's body are both ready.

Oh my! Is that what the sac was? It is unlikely a stuck kitten would survive in the birth canal.

Your instincts were spot on! Was she trying to push it out without success?

Where are her 3 kittens, and who is feeding them in the meantime?

Be sure to ask for 3 days of pain meds for her before leaving the vet. She'll need them.

Please keep us posted!
