Hubby was explaining to a mutual friend of ours that I wasn't able to be at a party last week because I was on pregnant cat watch (however unnecessary said watch ended up being) and mutual friend was like: "Pregnant cat? How many cats are you two going to have now? Oh god... you're turning into those people, aren't you?"

Yup, and proud of it!

They're so small and squirmy, and it's so hard to tell just yet, but I tried to sex the kittens tonight while momma was eating.

Kitten #1 (red with a lot of white) girl

Kitten #2 (red) girl

Kitten #3 (red with white) girl

Kitten #4 (red) boy

Kitten #5 (brown tabby) boy

if sexes are right -- looks like the tom was a red tabby.

They're all looking so cute. I'll post more pics tomorrow.

Lindsey, I broke the news to my hubby last night over the phone that I wanted to keep her. He said "I told you so"

He warned me last year when I started fostering that I was going to want every cat that crossed our doorstep.

So far I am limiting myself to one a year - lol Too bad the year has just begun... Twixie will only make 4.... what's one more kitty litter box between family???

That cat is not just any cat though, and we will all back you up!! She is BEAUTIFUL! If he won't let you keep her, pack her up in a little kitty travel safe box and ship her to me! Or my mom, who is dying for a beautiful tortie or calico!
