Tell me about you fondest memory?


Do you have a christmas tree up?
We don't celebrate Christmas, but we will put up a Yule tree on the 8th December.


Do you wrap presents or do you put them in gift bags?
For Christmas/Yule, we wrap; the rest of the year mostly I use gift bags. My friends and I keep and reuse them, so it feels least wasteful.


What is the most embarising thing that has ever happened to you?
I can't put that here! But it's HILARIOUS.


How old were you when you left home?
14


How often do you sing along with the radio?
Almost never - I don't really listen to the radio.


Do you like to play video games?
Yes. I have a narrow range of taste, but the games I enjoy I'm very loyal to (Baldur's Gate series, NeverWinter Nights series, Sims)


What is the uglies outfit you own?
I don't think I have one right now. (I keep very little in my closet - I buy as little as I can get away with of the best I can afford).

Transculent white.

How often do you clean the shower?
Well, it's a shower in a bath, so once or twice a week when I'm doing the bath. BF sprays the shower down every time he's in it (often twice a day).

I didn't. I had left over pizza for brunch though.

You could have if you were here. People don't usually escape my house unfed.


Have you ever wanted to learn to ride a bike?
No. They are death traps.


Can you rollerskate?
Yes - well, I could as a kid.


Can you iceskate?
Not well, and I nearly got killed so I never got to go back (no real oppurtunites where I live now, either).

Yes.

This summer.

No. I never left New England when I was in the States.

They make me sad.


Do you know why elephants are afraid of mice?
No, and I'm not sure that they really are. I've heard it's because the elephants are scared that the mice will run up there nose, which makes sense considering how annoying little insects are too us.

Once, when I was really little, unless public bathrooms at rest stops count - then a few times.


Do you like public speaking?
Yes, and I'm very good.


When did you first start writing?
At the level I do now? Probably about seventeen.


Are your fingernails long?
Medium.


Bath or shower?
I shower at the moment, but I like baths occasionally as a comfort thing.


How do you drink your coffee?
Sweet, with lots of milk and cream... I like things like lattes and mochas

The bean? Probably. I'm not snobby about coffee.


Earl Grey tea?
Adore it - my absolute favourite tea in the world is this cinnamon tea - totally ordinary supermarket own brand tea - that BF picked up in Amsterdam.

Yes.

No.

Yes, at least the way I do it.

It depends on the kind of cursing you're talking about.

First movie you ever watched?
No idea! I definitely watched Jaws though at age 3.


When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
At five, I wanted to be a ballet dancer. I eventually gave that up around age 10, because I knew that I hadn't been trained in time. Then I wanted to be a guide dog trainer for about a year, before I realized that I wanted to go to West Point and become career army. Sadly, that dream was shattered too when I was exiled to Ireland.


If you were reincarnated, what do you want to come back as?
A cartographer.


Would you rather use the computer for your writing or a paper and pen?
Yes, I would only have to type it out anyway, and I'm a pretty fast typist. I love pens and paper, but I don't think my handwriting does them justice.

Very, very very: about 200K euros (which translates to 266.3K USD, 304.9 CAD, 134.5K GBP)

I never drive anywhere! As far as being taken there, probably only a few times a year.

Several times a year. It really does rain all the time here.

Is there anything in Shannon other than the airport?

There's a huge town now. The history of Shannon is pretty cool, actually - it was a totally planned town, reclaimed land from the ocean, huge technological parks there.


Do you decorate for Christmas?
No, but I do for Yule (Pagan Winter Solstice festival).


What was the last thing you ate?
Black pudding.


Favorite type of cake?
My friend's mother's chocolate cake.

There's a few of them. "The Last Unicorn" by Loreena McKennitt is one, "Hands" by Jewel is another.
