What time do you normally go to bed? Midnight. On the dot unless I'm really tired. Brian laughs at me and says I have this weird internal timer that tells me when its bedtime. We'll be watching a movie and I'll sit straight up and say, "It's midnight. Night sweety," and go in the other room and go to sleep.

Do you and Brian make sure to say good night and I love yous every night?
Most nights unless I fall asleep early.

How often do you talk to your Mom and Dad?
A couple of times a week, sometimes more. We were on the phone earlier trading Thanksgiving recipes.

Siblings?
Once every couple of weeks. My sister is SUPER busy with her little girls and work, and on top of having a one year old my brother is trying to build a house himself.

How often do you visit them?
1-2 times a year.

Brian and I bought a nice fake tree last year with the clear lights already on it. Talk about a time saver. If I miss the smell of a real tree I just light up a pine scented candle.

Do you have a theme when decorating it? (country,Victorian)
My theme is homey. I like to string popcorn every year, although this year I'm sure that will be interesting with Anya trying to help me. I have a lot of plain ornaments, and the ones that aren't are the ones that Brian and I buy for each other each Christmas together.

What are you getting Anyanka for Christmas?
I don't know... I was talking to Brian about that this morning. I have a couple of small toys already tucked away for her that I found on clearance.

Do you buy for all your neices and nephews?
Yes. Everybody buys for the kids in my family, but the adults draw names. Being the kind of aunt that I am, I usually give them books. I just stuck two Judy Blume books in my Amazon cart for my 9 year old niece, and an Opus book each for the younger two.

I love the smell of a real tree too.But, unfortuantly I am allergic to the sap,so I don't put up a real one.
Plus, that to me is to much of a *toy* for the kits.

A star. I've always preferred a star for some reason.

Nothing now, but I'm sure we will leave out the same once we have skin kids.

He would love it if I did but I just can't get really excited about it. He listened to today's game on Internet radio so I listened in too as I was cleaning. I have to say I'm a little dissappointed in our guys. Stinks that Portis is out for the season now too. .... Guess I care more than I thought I did!

Brian just got a Redskins catalog from NFL.com and was picking me out all kinds of women's jerseys, track suits etc. to wear.

Nah, I've never been a sports fan. I do keep up with the Redskins though. Brian would disown me if I didn't!
