After a lovely few chilled days, Luna and the kitties have been doing so well, so just now Luna has been lay with the babies and was jerking a little then jumped out of the nest and seemed on edge, she started acting odd and looking for a place to hide frantically, then as the kittens started meowing for mummy she ran and jumped back in but was still quite agitated as if she could settle due to something? I know I'm probably just being over protective but do you think she is ok?
She may be experiencing after pains. She should be okay though. Has she been drinking a dish of KMR each day for extra calcium?

Congrats on your kittens to be 
About spaying the kittens. I was told by a previous vet to wait until 6 months with my male kitten. He said neutering male cats early can cause urinary tract issues when they get older. Since I don't have information to back them up, maybe ask your vet when she recommends neutering/spaying them when you take them in for their check up? (Because I had a neutered mail already there and he was starting to wiggle his tail at 4.5 months my cat wound up getting snipped a little early.)
