she's been lactating since Thursday, for 2 days.
today her "area" looks swollen and gushy.
when are these kittens coming???!
will be her 1st and going to be only litter.
she got out while in heat was gone for 3 days , thought we lost her but she came back home thank God. we love her so much.
i babysat my granddaughter tonight while the kids, (2 older children are out and have children of their own, still have 2 teenagers at home) went to the fair.
"Avia" came out to see what the fuss was all about after the little angel fell asleep. I told her "you'll be a mama soon!"
i keep watching her belly to see if i can detect any visible contractions, but nothing. and i haven't noticed her digging anywhere or making a nest. She did hop behind a tall book case in my daughters bedroom as if to scope the area out. she also swatted at our dog "Duke", they usually touch noses and can sleep close by eachother but she's been making him keep his distance lately.
we have 2 nice size card board boxes w/ folded blankets that she can use for a nesting box, she's gone inside one of them, but not the other.
thinking about staying home from church tomorrow just in case its kitten time.
