How is little Willow this morning?
And you can ask about diluting the KMR (that's what my vet had me do with my foster kitten) to keep her well hydrated and keep things moving.Originally Posted by Julya
How long has it been since she's gone number 2? You might have to stimulate her nether region with a warm/damp towel. Also, the KMR can cause constipation. If she seems constipated, try mixing a little Karo syrup and/or baby (human) cereal into the KMR to help move her stools through. She should be urinating lots. Look for urine (if only a little) everytime you stimulate her. You can stimulate after each feeding.
You know, I just recently had a cat that was cocking his head to the side and his pupil looked larger than the other eye, and come to find out, he had a ulcer behind the eye which was very painful. The doctor gave us some ointment to put in Purrsee's eye and with in a week he was just about 100% again. You might want to find out if your vet knows anything about that.Originally Posted by silvermoonmyst
I did notice a few odd things. Her head is always cocked to the right. To my left, she even walks with it cocked. and her right puple is always bigger then her left. I hope that something isnt damaged inside badly.. if so, we will survive. but its worth mentioning now. I want it written down when i first noticed it. Im using this as a record of her symptoms.
I think it is time for Willow to see a vet again, too. There may be something that can be done to help her. The uneven pupils most likely indicate some kind of brain damage. If there is swelling in the brain, it might be helped with medications.Originally Posted by CrystalMarie

Have a wonderful day!!

Good point! I'll bet a steriod shot would help with that swelling, and let her body take over the healing.Originally Posted by Beckiboo

What a little fighter! I am encouraged that she is still improving day by day!
