Lorie,
I am so sorry you received such bad news. I have been through a traumatic medical issue in the past, and I know how traumatizing it is. I hope & pray that you will keep your chin up, talk to someone when you need to, cry when you need to, and never lose the faith. In the meantime, I will be thinking good thoughts for you, saying prayers, and sending healing vibes in your direction. --Heather and LuckyGirl
I'm sorry you recieved bad news. Its rough living with a medical condition thats not curable. I know first hand how that is. Sending good wishes your way...
So sorry to hear the news. I like to think that you're only as sick as you feel, so if you're feeling good, focus on that!
My fiancé is a hypocondriac (sp?) and if he "feels" sick, then he may as well be sick. When he was diagnosed with Lupus, we read up on the best ways to treat the symptoms to avoid bad "flare ups", and that has helped his moral greatly. It gives him a sense of being able to control his body again and actively work to help his health. Can you do some research to see if you can reverse the progress your disease has taken?
I'm so sorry, Lorie, this must be so incredibly difficult for you. You are definitely in my prayers, and I'm sending you big, soothing hugs. Sierra and Serenity send sweet snuggles, as well.
Hope you're cuddling up with precious little Snowball tonight, our babies give us such comfort.
I agree if you are feeling good while the nwes wasn't what you wanted to hear I would focus on having a positive attitude. I think that can make a postive impact on your condition.
