Here's my impression of Sophie "Purple is soooo yesterday.. I want a different colour bandage <knocks over water>"

Another trip to the vets for a bandage change :/ She now has a pink one.. I think she wants to try out every colour...

Today I went to the vets to have Sophie's bandage changed (Not because of it getting wet this time though.. It just needs to be changed every 4 - 5 days) and the vet said that there was a problem from the splint/bandage putting too much pressure on her leg and didn't give me a clear answer whether it'd cause any problems with her bone healing :/

Also I'm really frustrated that on Monday when the bandage was changed and also today, I wasn't allowed to stay with her while they were doing it.. It's even more frustrating when they tell me there's something wrong and I don't get to see whats wrong with it..

I need to go again on Saturday to have it changed again so they can keep an eye on her leg too, so I booked it at the other branch where Sophie had her surgery done and asked for the appointment to either be with Jacquie (She did the surgery) or Mark (He's their orthopedic specialist and was overseeing the surgery) and managed to get one with Mark. On Saturday when I go I'm not going to let them change her bandages without me being present because I want to see her leg myself..

Also, she has to have more antibiotics :( She really hates taking them and there were only 2 pills left (One for this evening and one for tomorrow morning) and I kept telling her "It'll only be a few more then it's all over" (even though she doesn't understand!) and now it'll be another week of them :(

I really hope the problems from the splint/bandage wont cause any delays in the healing or any other issues with the bone :/ At least on Saturday though I'll be seeing the orthopedic specialist and will probably get an answer to it.
