i grieve for my Vincie girl and it's been years since she passed, you will get through it but
there are times when you will remember Sammy and you'll cry bur think how lucky you were
to have him.

It's been almost three years now, and whilst the acute grief diminishes, I still miss him every day. Stupid little things like showing him any groceries I bought, or any ribbons for Christmas presents, he loved to be involved, and I miss that so much. He was a huge part of my life, I used to look forward to getting back to him after work, and just being with him on my days off, he was my little friend who just happened to be a cat. I miss him so much.

I fully understand you, we all miss those little things we had between us and our kitties, that special relationship that you won't find with another cat. It will beautiful anyway, but different, and we all miss what we had before.
It's 7 years for me, and I still miss my sweet Lola. It will be a long journey.
