That was a cord you cut correct?

Like a skinny shoelace.

It was fairly short so I think the others were afraid it was not a cord/placenta and might have been his intestines on the outside, which happens now and then, fairly rare thankfully.

I'm assuming you know what the cord looks like since momma chewed the others and ate the placenta.

So are you saying that the chunk of tissue was not attached to a short cord on the babys tummy?

It was attached to his belly with a sort of cord I'm not sure he confused me and I'm so nervous I don't know what to do but for sure talking the kitten to the vet isn't a good idea I believe

Can you get a clearer picture?

This time rather than holding the baby upright, hold it down like on his back and picture, this will show much clearer.

Bottom line is, if it was born with outside intestines it will not make it whether cut or not.

Vet won't perform surgery on a newborn for this.

I need to leave but don't want to until I know for sure, so please try another picture with baby tipped down more.

Oh crap......intestines.

Please get this baby to the vet ASAP, like right now.

If this is his intestines he should be dead by now right ? But he isn't and he is trying to find a nipple beside the other kittens

I don't trust him that much would getting the kitten to the vet make any difference? Will it help ? He told he he will pass away so I don't think he cares that much

Something isn't right here, he should have only a belly button piece of cord there.

The tummy doesn't look right from what I can see.

Too much going on there.

You can let him nurse but he needs to see the vet.

I don't know that he would die fast, probably not. Is it bleeding still?

What did it look like that you cut? You said sort of a cord.

He needs to see a vet immediately. There is some sort of organ outside of his body that needs to be inside and the kitten is in a tremendous amount of pain. You also aren't sure what you cut. Please get to a vet now.

I was just about to say, put what you cut off in to a baggie and take it with you.

This will be helpful to know what it is and what can be done now, if anything.

Yes, please take him.
