he's 14, was lightly sudated and had hard poo removed by vet who found hard lump in his belly vet says its either side so still space in middle to function, he has belly full of fluid vet drained small amount to test and said it didn;t look good and prob the mass is cancer. he had stopped eating then drinking, i insisted he put on a drip and he responded fairly well, eat a little when i fed him, he also pleased to see me, brought him home with stanby pain killers.
he gets up to use litter tray, legs wobbly and eats small amounts did not drink till last night drunk loads in one go and nothing since, one minute i am sure this is the end then he seems alert again, i dont want to watch him die esp if in pain, i dont want to put him alseep if its not a killer mass i need to know for sure but i dont want to put him through too much, i can scape together the op cost but vet reluntant to do it.
help please asap
