My thoughts exactly. Legal writing is something a person can have altogether too much of!!! I'd be interested to hear what kind of legal writing you do.

Yes, me too, exactly. That's a shame, I had a great time posting captions and remarks on other folks' cat pics. I sent several emails to the webmaster (along with a nice donation) begging them to bring back the comments, but to no avail.

I just finished clerking for a federal judge, so as of late all my legal writing has been in the form of judicial opinions and orders.

Perhaps I should submit an article to the Annals of Improbable Research.

Thanks for letting me digress from the topic a little. That must have been great experience. I do my own share of legal writing (I teach Law) but writing about kitties seems much more fun

I have a question: Why is her tail short like that? Is it genetic or did she lose it?

(sorry to bring seriousness to the thread!)

That's OK - it's genetic. Probably related to the problems she had with her leg bones (check second page of the thread, or third maybe).

Yes, and yes. It was a fantastic experience, wouldn't trade it for anything. I only wish it had lasted more than a year.

That's the main reason I joined TCS - the Caption This contest!
(Not to brag, but I've had a few winning carptions.

Very cute, any relative of a Kneazle (for you non Harry Potter fans, Hermione's cat is actually half kneazle, I think. Maybe all kneazle, don't remember)

Yes, not sure how I found out, here's a link to more info. kneazle

A kneazle is a catlike creature, smarter than a regular cat (scary thought) and able to detect suspicious types. Hence Crookshanks mistrust of Scabbers. And we all just thought he was hungry.
