Me first??

Ok....lets see, I can't break it down to just one..so here are a couple..in no particular order or importance

- getting out of an abusive relationship when I was younger
- quitting smoking
- my first solo flight
- delivering a US airforce trainer to it's permanant home in Colorado
(even though it was a very small plane I was still proud!)

This pic was taken close to my home sweet home

Getting my PhD is definitely the top. It's a nice way to thumb my nose at the teachers in middle school who told me and my parents that I was not smart enough for the accelerated program.

Getting into one of the top universities for my major. Too bad I'm no longer interested in working in that field.
But I was still proud.

Planning and making all the reservations for a two week trip to Japan for me and my bf all by myself, and him telling me that it was the best vacation he'd ever been on.

What would you say your proudest moment is or great accomplishment in life??

Proudest moment: GIVING BIRTH! I did it without using any pain meds, and being pregnant in itself was not advisable for me. I gots me a beautiful, funny & intelligent daughter and I'm dang proud.

Another great accomplishment was leaving an abusive man. It was 10 yrs ago but still I remember the date & time of when I left him. It takes guts to leave someone who has ripped out your self esteem and stomped it on the floor... then... to rebuild yourself.

My greatest accomplishment so far would be winning the National Dance Team Championship my senior year of high school. I haven't felt anything like that before or since.
