Last night, Hekitty jumped from the top of the cd player to the floor, causing explosive...erm...gas. She froze, looked at me, looked at her behind, looked at me again, and marched of with maximum dignity, nose high. Took all I had not to laugh in her face.
Sometimes my cat Spot's tail seems to have a mind of its own. There are times the base of his tail shakes like a rattlesnake's tail taking the rest of the tail with it, and sometimes it wiggles like it's waving at us (especially when he's being pet!) It's adorable and one of the things that make Spot a unique kitty cat.
Comet has been visiting elderly neighbors to give them a little bit of loving. He'll sit in their lap while they pet him. My neighbors all love Comet and think he's an amazing loving kitty.
When I first brought Vincent home Sera did nothing but back away and hiss at the poor little guy (he was 11 weeks old). But as time progressed she became like a mother cat to him it was instinctive for her it showed in her behavior and protective of him she has been from early on.
I woke up this morning and one of the kitties was snuggled right up against me. I thought it was one of the girls. It was Henry. My little boy has come so far.
ENTRY - My little Pea-Pea Head, and yes, I really call her that, and yes, she responds, lol...
Anyway, she is my girl that has become fond of walking on my keyboard. I'll leave my laptop where it is, she'll walk on it. I'll move my laptop out of the way, and she'll still walk on it. She almost sent my friend that I was typing something to in an IM yesterday a message :lol3:
Snoop has turned into an "attack cat." Since I changed his diet to grain free limited ingredient, his diarrhea is gone and he feels better. Because of that he goes wild around the porch, running and playing. When I start to go back in the house he runs out from where he is hiding and grabs onto my leg with both paws. It is amazing how quickly the worm their way into your heart and you love them so deeply it hurts. :lol3:
It's amazing when I am cold all three cats will come to cuddle to keep mommy warm. Its a rarity when all three are on the bed at the same time. A lot of love there
Our house has six cats, and they know when I start to get ill. I can tell too, from early warning kitty alert system--I'll have a cat by my side at all hours of the day (not always the same cat, of course). It's sweet and cute!
ENTRY - Woke up this morning to Mama knocking the bag of treats off the table and having herself a quick snack. Put it away, went back to sleep. Woke up a second time to Mama knocking the catnip off a higher shelf and trying to open it by tossing it around vigorously.
My pet sitter, who is also a literacy volunteer and head of the county SPCA, has two cats. One is a big giant ginger boy who she took in after the family of a disabled man she helped with both programs refused to take him after her client died. She never accepts payment, but I'm sure she'd accept a box of catnip toys for Ernie!!!!
