Yes, several times.

Have you ever been on an archeological dig?

I've been to the site of several that had parts open to the public, but I have not participated.

What is the oldest (as far as age of the human construction, of course) place that you have been?

I've been to some really old places but I'm not sure what would have been the oldest. Maybe some of the Silk Road cities in the Taklamakan desert? I think the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha caves are around 1,500 years old.

Wait, Stonehenge and Avebury are supposed to be much older than that though. I think Stonehenge is thought to have been first constructed around 3,000 BC.

I guess that would be the oldest place I've ever been.

What's your earliest childhood memory?

I remember standing up in my crib and crying while staring at a light, intrigued by the way the tears caused the light to sparkle and make rainbows. And I remember my mother trying unsuccessfully to get me to pipe down because it was the middle of the night.

That's a great question.  What is your earliest memory?

For a long time, my earliest memory was my second birthday party, but now I think I only remember remembering it. I think now my earliest memory might be when I was about 3 and there was flooding near my house. I remember putting a rubber ducky in the street and watching it float away.

What was the last thing you recall that surprised you (big surprise or small)?

I have a small room in my apartment which is supposed to be used by a full time maid but I use it for my great grandcjildren's toys as well as for keeping on a table my plants which are supposed to reflower before they are allowed back ine livingroom. One of these plants, a clivia,  has been thus under punishment for the last 6 years. Only a week ago one of my daughters offered to take it and plant it in her garden which I accepted. When she came yesterday to get it............surprise!!.........we discovered a lovely bud growing between the leaves.  Obviously she didn't want to go away and decided to behave herself.

Do you like interior plants?

I like them well enough I guess but don't have any. My Sophie would destroy them in no time unless I managed to kill them first. I'm a plant grim reaper

Is there any food that you eat every day?

Yes, with my coffee in the morning I always eat buiscuits with sesamo seeds.

Did you ever take the wrong flight?

Brrrrrr.  I get shivers just thinking of taking the wrong flight.
  No, I've never done it.

Have you grown cacti, inside or out?

Yes.  It was my first time flying alone, too.   It all turned out fine, though.

Have you ever ridden in a train drawn by a steam locomotive?

Have you ever ridden in a Stanley Steamer car?

No. I had to look that one up. The only Stanley Steamer I knew of were the people that do carpet cleaning. I've never done a ride along with them either. They usually use vans.

Do you own a typewriter?

I did. 30 years ago. Word processors are no-brainer better all round.

Do you own a dressy hat, from a men's hatter or a ladies' milliner?

Yes. I have one of these that I enjoy wearing to the movies

No. Not really. I have a Stetson that was DH's. It's pretty nice. Does that count?

Do you make/cook any special treats for your cat?

Stetsons do count, to me at least! The last person in my family to wear a truly dressy hat was my grandfather, who died in 1980. Which makes sense, since men's hat-wearing etiquette was such a bother, only die-hards bothered.

Hmm. No special treats, though I do share some grilled steak or a bit of cheese with Great Great Grandma, my elder kitty cat.
