Can't stand 'em. When I was a baby I kicked them off all the time, footie pajamas made me scream because I couldn't kick them off so I'd panic. A necessary evil in cold weather, but no, I don't like them, not a bit.

Ever been to a botanical garden?

Yes. My father was a climber when he was younger and he used to take us climbing. My husband is a climber too. I've climbed a few small mountains but the most impressive climb I did was in the Hunza Valley in Pakistan.

What are the top 3 things on your Bucket List?

To go places:
1: Barrow, AK.
2: Devil Springs, FL.
3: Caribbean.

What is your biggest regret? (nothing personal just in general).

That the world spends so much time, energy and money fighting war, especially religious wars.   If all of that time, energy and money were spent more productively, we could be so much more advanced as a species and so much happier.    There is still so much to discover in this great universe.

Can you read music?

Yes, but not as many as I should.

Have you ever traveled on a high speed train?

Yes.   It was while flying first class as a kid that I developed horrible air sickness and threw up all over the place,  thus making all my fellow first class passengers wish they'd flown coach.

Have you ever taken music lessons?

I think holidays are for fun, so I don't do things you "have to" do if they stress me out and make things not fun. I might make a few more gifts, but if I don't then I don't, so I'm ready either way.

What's your favorite non-winter holiday.

It's probably between two brunch places in my neighborhood. I'm into brunch.

What's your favorite beverage?

(I love your patriotic American cat.)

Earl Grey Tea (hot)

Do you get annoyed by bird song in the morning?

No. Not at all. I adore birds. My 3 favorite B's are birds, bees and butterflies.
We have these little tiny flowers that grow on the lawns here. They jokingly call them Florida snow. They are starting to open up for the day when I take the dog out in the morning. There are little bees everywhere. I just love them.

Do you have a favorite flower?

Yes, the humble snapdragon.  I love all the colors they come in and their intoxicating fragrance and I love how they do well as cut flowers.  But most of all I love how you can pinch their little faces between thumb and forefinger and make their mouths open and close. It helps if you make them talk, too.  ( I'm easily entertained.
 )

Do you have a long commute?
