I wasnt really loving it while at the races this weekend and had to get up stupid early. But the rest of the time I love it. I get off work at 6 or 7 depending on the day so it was so nice to drive home in the daylight today! And once summer is here it means that sunset is not until 9 oclock. That means plenty of time to come home and go for a ride in the convertible, or go to downtown and sit out on the patio and have dinner and watch the performers, or have plenty of time to take Reese to the park and burn some energy off!

Plus for me coming home and it being light motivates me to actually do things. I hate being inside if it is nice out so DST means I tend to come home and work in the yard for a few or lay in the hammock and read instead of flopping on the couch and turning on the tv.

I don't see any need for it in Germany. As goonie said, it doesn't get dark here till about 10 p.m. in summer.
