does anyone else have cats that come when they're called?

They all know their names... sometimes they will respond when I call them... Ghost likes to hang out in the basement. So if I stand at the top of the stairs and call him... he will come to the bottom and peek around the edge and squeak a response, as if to say, Yes? It is too cute!!

My male cats always would come. Mattie, she is a different thing. I think it has to do with being female.

Curiously... Loony, my male cat is the one that's most disobedient. Luna, my female almost always comes when called.

my girls come when they're called, or they meow if they have been disturbed from sleep

they are always quite near anyway lol!
