I've still got mine too...

I had mine out at 23... I don't even want to talk about it

I had mine out when I was like 6 I had my adenoids removed at the same time.

I still have mine. But one is flat now. The other is round. I think it's from years of allergies and such. But the Dr has never been concerned about that.

i had my adenoids out at 8 or so tho.

i had both tonsils & adenoids removed when i was 3 - it was extremely common at that time [1961 or so]. docs thought tonsils were not necessary. my mom said after the removal, my rate of ear infections went WAAAAY down!

on another note - how many people still have wisdom teeth? wait - i'll make a poll...

I must admit I am surprised at the results of this poll, I thought there be many more people who had their tonsils out than still had them.

I had mine out when I was 10, but I think by then (1984) it had become much less common to have your tonsils removed than, for example, when my parents were kids.
