People do come on this board sometimes saying they are going to let their cat have 'just one litter' or whatever, or to 'educate' their kids in birth, and we try hard to persuade them out of it and to foster a pregnant cat instead. There is just no point in breeding moggies - you have no idea what type or temperament of kitten you will get, and you are just adding to the problems of the homeless, even if you find homes for your kittens.
