Hi. My 9 month old female cat got spay roughly about 48 hours ago and she has pulled out the stitching herself when I wasn’t paying attention.

it seem like there’s an opening right now and I am extremely worried about it. Should I be worried or is this normal? Does she need to get stitched back or can she heal on her own?

Hope someone can let me know. Thanks in advance!

:hellosmiley: and welcome to TCS!

I think you better send this photo to your vet or better still, bring your cat back to the vet to restitch the incision. 48 hours is pretty raw for the incision to close up by itself. I think you can jump queue at the vet's as this is considered an emergency.
