Just 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar in the rinse cycle, will help prevent lint and pet hair from clinging to clothes. This works with all 10 of my cats

hi I am brand new here, hope it's ok to butt in! I have one of those rubber cat grooming mitts with the teeth and if u immerse it in water, shake off excess and run it up and down on cat trees, carpet upholstery and blankets the hair comes off in rolls. for the washed in hair I'm thinking of getting a sweater pill shaver.

Thank you for this advice, even though this post is four years old. I'm just reading this thread now & have one of those mitts & will try that on my blankets & soft furniture. I've been wondering what to do with my blankets & comforter before I clean them & put them away for the summer.
