Thank you so much for taking care of this cat. Without claws he is at a huge disadvantage so what you are doing is wonderful. 

He will take to a litter box quickly. It will be wonderful when he can move into the catio and be protected. He sounds like a real sweetie and he deserves a good life. He sure knew where to go to find a great future!!

Oh His!  You truly are my hero of the year.  What you've given this terrified, lost, starving and utterly defenseless little bit of precious.  Bless you a hundred fold for being his haven.

My lil feral loves to sleep in straw, but never uses her piles of hay as a litterbox.  I agree with the others... start box training now.  He'll get it.
