Ooh I missed the season premier too

I love watching House - he shares my views on things for the most part too

They've been playing a ton of House episodes on USA - just watched the end of one before getting ready to put our movie in.

I enjoy trying to guess a few things from time to time too, although I have no idea about most medical mysteries - especially not the crazy ones they have on there!

And it takes place in New Jersey

I love that show!!! I bought DH seasons 1-3 for Christmas, not sure if it was a good buy or not, and we watched nothing but House for at least a week. It was probably the best present I ever got him!

That is another throw to the Holmes character, he was a coke fiend, yet brilliant. House also dropped acid to combat a migrane he induced on himself, the got a hooker. What a guy, lol.

About the snorting coke one, is he doing coke? I know there is one where he has hayfever and he chops up some antihistimine and snorts it. Are they even allowed to show someone doing coke on network TV? I remember watching "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" on network TV, they cut out every single drug refrence, and that was weed, not coke.

I don't think he ends up doing cocaine to any great degree. As far as drugs on network TV, isn't the main show on Fox, and the reruns are on a cable network (although I can't remember which one right now.)

That's all part of House, though. His job, far as he sees it, is figuring out their disease. If throwing a ball or being mean to people is what ends up with that result, that's what he does. Plain and simple.

As for the cocaine... well, he's House.

Cameron did meth once too, remember.

I love House! I became addicted the end of the second season. Watched entire first season in a row via streamline then second as well. As far as his methodology, he is who he is. Is it realistic, NO! Entertaining? YES! Believable that a drug addicted, burglar/criminal trespassing/con artist would be allowed to continually trial and error diagnosis on dieing patients repeatedly? Of course not! But it still is very entertaining!

You are right, the main show is on Fox, the re-runs are on USA. (I am reminded of a line from the Simpsons in an episode they did set in the future, "Fox turned into a hardcore porn channel so slowly no one noticed"

But as pointed out, House is House. Would we watch a boring follow all the rules never get into trouble guy with the same zeal as we do this one? Nope! All the characters are flawed in some way, that is what makes them interesting. In the episode where Cameron does meth she jumps Chase, who doesn't put up much of a fight even knowing she is stoned out of her mind. Not exactly boy scout honor badge material!

Watched "No Reason" and have to say it was possibly the most bizzare episode I have seen so far. Big giant tounge, eyeballs popping out, hallucinations and exploding testicles.

That took my mind off of being fired for a minute or two, lol.

Last night was a good show. I did not expect the kissing part. Loved it

I have to say, I have since discovered Scrubs, and House drives me nuts now. Scrubs is more realistic, and they have had a LOT more powerful storylines.

I always laugh in House when the same doctors are doing blood draws, brain surgery, heart surgery, neurological stuff, x-rays, reading results... please! The episode I watched the other day had Wilson (the cancer guy) helping out with a pediatric case!!
