Before i castrate the cat myself...HELP!!!

Thank you! I was always told that they could be neutered earlier, it was just up to the discretion of the vet. He is now 4.84 pound-- we went to the vet the other day, got every test and vaccination known to man, and cost me $140, but I know what he weighs!-- so hopefully they will let me neuter him soon.

You're very welcome! I'm glad you found the information useful. He's definitely ready to be neutered now that he's almost 5lbs and has been fully vetted
. Good luck with your new kitten, and once again, i highly suggest getting an E-collar for him to wear after the surgery. Keep us posted! Have a good one!
