Ok guys, I'm mad, and I'll admit it, but I really would like to know if I'm a terrible person for being mad in the first place. We have a 50th anniversary to cater Saturday about an hour and a half from home, it's to be set up and ready for pictures to be taken at 12:30 pm. This means we're needing to leave no later than 9:30 am to get there and do everything that we need to do. Now, I have no problem with this, it's been booked for months, all systems are "go". Will spend most of the day Friday cooking for it and serving at a rehersal dinner here in town.
Now, to what peeved me off....a lady just came in my store to see hub. I gave her his card, told her the cell phone was the best way to reach him. She informed me in a very haughty manner that " she was going out of town until Friday and needed him to do a brunch for her and about 8 of her friends Saturday morning, to let them try his 'stuff'. I told her that he couldn't (explained the above scenario), she looked at me like I was crazy, and told me to tell him that SHE expected HIM to have the food ready for them about 8 Saturday morning!" I repeated myself again that he couldn't, and she said for him to call her (mind you she's leaving town right now, and won't be back until Friday sometime). I asked her if there was anyone else of the ladies that he could call if he couldn't get her....she informed me (head back, nose in the air) "no, SHE was the only one that could do it", and walked out the door. Sheesh! Now mind you, I was unfailingly nice and polite to her, but dear God what a b**h!......and mad doesn't begin to describe the way I feel about it right now......am I wrong for that?
