we really like to discuss books in the process of reading them, so we decided not to clog the general topic with our verbosity, but to create a separate one :)

this book combines a detective story, a love story and a magical story :), but the main thing in it is the establishment of interconnection and understanding between people and cats :) you will look at your cats and expect them to turn into people or just start talking with you :) although they do it in our thoughts, which we take for great ideas :)

I don't quite get what you're saying. you can always re-read a book
we mean that we do not want to re-read some books :( and the time spent on the first and last reading would be better spent on re-reading old books :( the problem is that we continue to look for masterpieces :)

Jill's quiet life is shattered when her house is broken into and her Abyssinian, Syrah, goes missing. Jill's convinced her kitty's been catnapped. But when her cat-crime-solving leads her to a murdered body, suddenly all paws are pointing to Jill.

Soon, Jill discovers that Syrah isn't the only purebred who's been stolen. Now she has to find these furry felines before they all become the prey of a cold-blooded killer-and she ends up nabbed for a crime...

The New York Times bestselling author of Bless Her Dead Little Heart and the Cats in the Stacks mysteries brings back the Ducote sisters, two spry Southern sleuths.

An’gel and Dickce Ducote tend to stay put in Athena, Mississippi, but a wedding is a good reason to say a temporary farewell to Charlie Harris’s cat Diesel and go visit relatives. But while their stay in Louisiana is scorching hot, the atmosphere at the wedding is downright cold, with bride-to-be Sondra Delevan putting her trust fund above little things like love and loyalty.

When a violent storm supposedly sweeps Sondra off a balcony to her death, the sisters discover that many of the guests attending the wedding had major reasons to object to Sondra’s marriage. Now, it’s up to An’gel and Dickce to use their down-home instincts to expose dubious alibis, silver-plated secrets, and one relentless murderer who lives for “till death do us part.”

so, books are divided into feline, pseudo-feline and non-feline :) the latter are at least honest and do not speculate on the images of cats to attract an audience :)

we may or may not like the books of female authors, but for some reason we have not liked a single book of a male author :)

now only e-books :) we gave paper books to the local library for a long time :) e-books are easier to read and store :)

chapter 1: in a small town you still need a security system, and even then you should not leave your cats alone at night :(

part 2: no matter what is said about professionalism in any area of life, the personal component always matters :)
