She is now stationed in the tub. She's now laying in there, even when I leave the bathroom. Thankfully, our bathroom is attached to our bedroom, so I can just keep the light on in there, and just peek in on her. Her breathing has sped up. She's not panting, but she's breathing fast and heavy.
I hope so. I'm camped out in the tub as well lol. Got my tablet, drink, and book just to pass the time. She's currently grooming herself, and is licking the hair off of the upper two nipples now. She did the four lower ones a while ago.
I am going to get some rest, as she is now sleeping. She'll purr every so often, but she'll sleep right through the contraction. I'll check on her here in a little bit, and make sure she's ok.
As I was getting ready to go to sleep, I heard a weird noise. So, I went to check on her. She managed to tear the board that we had drilled into place to keep her from getting out, down. So, I have had to block the bathroom off completely. Tomorrow, if she hasn't had the kittens, we're going to get creative with that. I'm not sure what we can do to block it off from her, that way she can be in a place where she feels comfortable. I thought she felt safe in the tub, I guess not.
I'm trying to think of what we could put against it, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll have to deal with it in morning, when my husbands awake. He'll know what to do.
She is now meowing and pacing. She's trying to stick by my side. I had to get breakfast for everybody, and she did not like me leaving her. Her meow has changed in pitch. It's more urgent sounding, and she's starting to pace.
I am. Poor thing. She wants to get out so bad. I have a smaller box set up in the closet for her, but so far, no interest in it. She's looking for a dark place, and so I have it as dark as possible in the closet.
No babies yet. But her behavior has changed considerably since this morning. She keeps curling up against my legs and readjusting. She can't get comfortable. I did catch her in the closet earlier though
I went to get a drink, and when I came back she was in her box, but she came running up to me the moment she realized I was back.
