Love the smell, but hate the taste...

Ok, this may be weird, but here goes anyway:

I was just cutting up a cucumber for my Pleco's (they love them SO much) and the whole kitchen started smelling like cucumber!! I absolutely LOVE the smell of a fresh cucumber, but I cannot stand the taste of them!

Do any of you have something that you love to smell, but hate to eat??

coffee! i'm really wierd when it comes to coffee. i love the smell of fresh coffee brewing in the morning, or the beans roasting - it smells divine. but...i hate coffee, iw ouldn't drink a cup of coffee if you paid me a thousand dollars. BUT - i DO like coffee ice cream.

see, told you i'm wierd.

Gas. I love the smell. But I'm not sure it'd be too great of a taste.

well if we're talking about non-food items too, i LOVE the way a plastic shower curtain smells. it's only shower curtains-only they have this certain specific plastic smell..and it just smells so good! i love when i get to buy a new shower curtain, cos i just keep smelling it while i'm putting it up, and the bathroom smells like it for the next few days.

did i mention i'm wierd?

Not really what I had in mind, but I guess it works!

I guess if that counts, then I can count permanant markers and paint too!!

I love the smell of pepperoni pizza. The only meat I miss.

As for smelling things..................mine is hamburgers.Can't stand the taste of them.But, get this.....LOVE steak!!!

You guys are too funny.

Mine isn't technically a food, but I LOVE the smell of fresh tobacco. I could roll in it. I love sniffing friends boxes of cigarettes. Yet I abhore smoking and the smell of cigarette smoke. Go figure.

I love the smell of meatballs but I don't like the taste of them. I loooove the smell of the roasted chicken at subway when it goes in the microwave but I don't really like the sub.

Brand new textbooks... the way it smells when you flip through the pages!

Even though that's not a food item

Coffee, Most meats....

I only drink those disolvable coffee things, and the way the guy at the kiosk makes my milk coffee, i literally asked him how he makes it! and what coffee brand he uses but he wont tell me! Atleast he gets my 90 cents of the day!

Other than that i love the smell of Wella Mousse. I could just eat it!

I love and adore the smell of coffee, but I won't drink it unless it's more milk than coffee.

And I was visiting my folks a few weeks ago and they were having BBQ ribs. They smelled so good! My soy burger, while tasty, couldn't really compare fragrance-wise.

Sometimes being a vegetarian can take a lot of discipline!
