Tell Me About Your Cat's Bratty Antics

Pudge is a shoulder rider. Since kittenhood, she's loved perching on my shoulder as I walk around the house. A few moths ago, she began beating me in the face with her tail.

Yesterday I realized something. She beats me in the face when I stop walking so that I'll start walking again! She does it more intensely if I've stopped to talk to someone.

Tell me some of your cat's bratty behaviors.

Reilly lays across my neck when I'm sleeping and his 13 lbs cuts off my air supply so I wake up....he has it all figured out.

My Pearl thinks she's a hairdresser except not in a nice way. She doesn't like my hair and bats the heck out of hit....then she runs her lovely claws through my hair like a comb....which I suppose to the casual observor would seem amusing but to my scalp less than that.

Oscar likes to sleep on my head(not above or next to....ON my head) at night. When I'm sick I usually sleep on the couch and he LOVES doing it then

Pudge will do something similar to that, only instead of my neck, she'll curl up right on my nose and mouth and look back at me to see if I've woken. If I have not, she'll get up, lay next to me for a few seconds, come back, and try again.

Both Rowdy and Buddy like to walk across my keyboard. They also lay on my desk and kick my mouse.

Rowdy will open drawers and drag my clothes out. She will alo dart into any open closet and hide WAAYYY in the back corner, where its hard for me to see her and drag her out.

They have both taken a shine to Bruce and will climb onto his lap, when he's trying to cuddle with me.

JC lays on the mouse & keyboard at my computer.
Andrea attacks feet.
And Joey steps on the phone base, sometimes turning off the answering machine feature.

It sounds like there's never a dull moment at your house.

The middle picture in my siggy shows Snowball in his favorite position... laying directly in front of the monitor where he bats at my hands while I type on the keyboard. He also likes to stand up (directly in front of the monitor of course) while I'm reading threads so I can't see anything BUT HIM!!!!!

Where do I start..... 8-Bit has a love affair with our :censor::censor::censor::censor:. He has gone so far as to open it, eat the tuna salad out of the metal bowl, close it, then go throw up because he ate too much tuna.

Koko's latest trick: tackles and licks my toes until I bring out a wand toy and play with her.

Muddy's trick: cries for his medicine (lysine paste) until one of us gives it to him then cries to the person that didn't give it to him for more. Hubby and I need to tell each other after we give him his drugs or he gets double dosed. He's a lysine addict!!

All most everything Simba does, is one bratty antic after another. He's so naughty it's cute. One of the most annoying antics he does, is wait until I go to bed (doesn't matter if it's day or night), and he starts yowling. I think he hates it when I go to sleep, because then I can't play with him or pay attention to him. He wants to keep me awake all of the time, I think.

Both our cats are big yowlers. They just want out all the time. I'm sure the neighbours just love them!
Pushy is really annoying in the morning with scratching the mattress to get me up. He's not hungry, he doesn't want cuddles, he just wants me to wake up.

I have 2 Kitties, and they are 13 months old, sister, but different in every way. Misty loves sleeping over our shoulders, only the left one though, if you put her on the right she will wriggle round to the left. Misty and Rusty also tend to sit in front of the monitor whenever anyone is on the computer.
Rusty is terrible on her feet, believe it or not, as kitties are suppose to be good on there feet. she often tries to jump onto things, loses her balance or forgets she has other legs. They both adore water, especially playing in it.
When my dad has an afternoon nap, Rusty always cuddles upto him, they are napping buddies!! They are spoiled rotten and they know they always get there own way.

Pudge likes riding on my left shoulder. She only ever goes to the right one if I stretch my arm out.

Chiclet and Cheeto are partners in crime. They are ALWAYS doing things they know I hate like pushing food out of their bowl and laying it all over the carpet. Knock the air out of me (since they are both over 11 lbs) when they run across the bed. Chiclet take ALL of my hair scrunchies that he finds and puts them in one of his many stashes around the house. And they love to eat my lucky plants. =o(

Ashes loves to bother when Im on the computer. she chases my fingers, rubs on my face steps on the keyboard

I could go on for a long time.... Cookie is pretty funny. He usually plays all shy... If you want to pet him he takes off... But when Rocky comes up for loves all of a sudden he's all over me.. wanting the attention I was going to give to Rocky.

Mainly though the kitties will ONLY lay on me during the day, makes my DH jealous as all heck.

Pudge is more closely bonded to me than she is to anyone else. Bf gets jealous of that as well.

Tavia has a shelf in the bathroom on the cabinet and that's where her food is kept and when I go to the bathroom she likes swatting at my hair and when I lay down she likes grooming my head especially after a shower or if I have done something and am sweaty. She seems to like the smell of my shampoo but she does it to dad too and he has a different kind of shampoo. And she likes to wait till I am almost asleep and then meow for petting and she also likes walking on my desk in when I am typing. And she will not go to my dad until he tells her that she is a good girl.
