Peeping Cats!

It has come to pass that I haven't had a single minute in the bathroom by myself lately... and it isn't my over zealous husband trying to sneak in there with me. It's LuckyGirl... as soon as I sit down to pee she jumps right on my lap. She knows by now that she will have to get up shortly, and she doesn't mind at all. When I take a shower, I don't even get the bathroom door closed with her nose and 1 paw peeking inside, so I let her in. Then she's watching everything so she doesn't miss one thing. And when I get in the shower, she has to sit on the ledge and observe! I'd love to know what's going through her little kitty mind.... the little peeper!!!

I actually have to think when I am in someone else's house to close the bathroom door all the way.

Trent isn't fastidious about coming in to see me every time I'm in there, but if the door is closed when he wants to I certainly hear about it!

I did an interview recently at the home of woman who has several cats and asked to use her bathroom before I left. Must not have shut the door tight, because sure enough, there was a push and big tuxedo casually strolled in.

His poor owner was mortified, but I reassured her that I have an "audience" pretty much all the time at home.

She must have been so embarassed!!! Funny story! Mine is a tuxedo also! Great minds...

Trout looooooooooooooves watching me in the bathroom..She'll jump on my lap and purr away as if she will sleep there forever. (or bring the ball to me for playing fetch)

I can't let her in when Ken is home though, he thinks its gross when I leave the bathroom door open

The worst for me is that Ginger MUST rub up against my legs when I get out of the shower. She thinks it is her job to lick my legs dry, and then I wind up with fur all over my legs - makes moisturizing tough!

If I don't let her in the bathroom, she'll wiggle the doorknob and meow like she's in pain!

You just washed all of her lovely fur and scent off of you, and she has to make sure that every other kitty knows that you are HER meowmy, not theirs!

Yeah, I usually have an audience, too. Tailer likes to crawl into my pants as they're around my ankles and purr up at me (I cannot believe I'm actually admitting that

). If it's not him, it's Forest, who loves to rub against my legs and flop at my feet for belly rubs.

We have 'peeping cats' of a different kind. A few of them sleep in our bedroom and its difficult to get any privacy.

There is no "alone" time in our house. I think they actually hear the door shut and run from the opposite side of the house just to be on the other side of the door.

Kitters only peeps when moms in there. If it's daddy she doesn't even go near there. But with me, EVERY SINGLE TIME! and she'll come in, go out, come in, go out, wierdo!!!

I got up in the middle of the night a few nights ago and went to the bathroom. As I sat down I felt this strange sensation on my leg. I looked down and there was Lonestar "washing" me.

I get all of the above too. Especially Flynn follows us around the house (he also does it to me boyfriend, if we're both home, boyfriend is nr 1 with him), he likes to sit on your lap in the bathroom while dEUS likes to stand in the basin and give head butts to my hand, so most of the time it's two kitties in there.

My boyfriend hates it when someone watches him while shaving, first day Flynn lived with us he climbed on BF's head and watched him shave.

Flynn also loves people fresh out of the shower, he doesn't even wants you to dry off first. And if you take too long showering he will go sit in the washbasin and watch you from there.

OOOOOH Minxie your so bad!!!

Lucky does this too! She makes sure she has prime seating

on my nightstand for the big event. And she really doesn't like it much when I'm "affectionate" with her daddy. Even if we just cuddle on the couch, she has to get right in there on his lap, and I swear she gives me dirty looks

if I even kiss him or anything!!!
