Not so happy!

So...as most of you know I just purchased a new 2005 Grand Prix on Monday.
I've only driven it to work and to WalMart and I parked waaaayyy out there in the parking lot, not next to ANY cars!

I am sitting here at my desk today and 2 of the techs come in and give me some rather horrible news. They were outside and noticed a HUGE dent and scrape on the drivers side rear door on my car! I go out and sure enuf, there it is Its about the whole length of the door!

I just want to cry, I JUST got my new car and now I have to fix it. Thank goodness I work in a Body Shop where they can fix it for a good price, but still, seriously - this would only happen to me!

I just needed to vent, I am not so happy

Thats what I thought too!

My boss is writing me up an estimate now to fix it... I really hope its not spendy!

He should give you a discount right?

To fix my car is gonna be $507!

Thats not counting a discount I SHOULD get, seriously I did not want to deal with this!

Im not sure about insurance, I have a 250 deductible, which is better than paying full price, so I think Im gonna call my agent in a bit and see what that covers.

Just make sure turning it in to your insurance does't raise your rates!

I just called my Agent and they said that they arent sure if it will yet or not, and I'm like uh, well I've never had a claim before, why should this be my fault and make my policy go up!? I am just ready to break down and cry, I can't believe any of this!

I have no idea what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna see what my boss can do for me.

Maybe your boss can work out payments through your paycheck (like $100 per check)? Just a thought.

So sorry to hear about that. I really think whenever someone gets a new car, there should be a dent resistant forcefield around the car for the first year!
I remember a guy I use to work with had bought a Lincoln Mark (something), and totalled it his 3rd day of owning it. He was so about it.
