We got a cat tree off E-bay tonight! I've wanted one for the girls for forever! And it ended up that we got it for $70 and some change (including shipping)...then we stooped by petsmart for food tonight and compared prices...totally a bargain! I'll see if I can post a link here. Of course I'll be posting pics once we get it and the girls check it out!

WOW!!! That is soooooo worth it. They are so expensive in the stores, but I"ve stayed away from ebay cause of the shipping, but as you said - even with shipping it was so much cheaper.
I'm going to cruise ebay right now!

Hehehe...you should have seen me this afternoon. I had to get DH to sit with it because I was litterally making myself nervous over it. His plan was first to place a small bid so if we got outbid it would be quicker to raise our bid. Then he waited till last minute to raise our bid, but we never got hear that dollar amount. He probably caught some poor person off guard doing that though!

hehe - he sounds like me. I keep two windows open. One to click refresh, refresh, refresh as we're getting down to the last minutes/seconds, and the second window ready to hit "bid" with a new bid amount if needed. That, or I use auction sniper...hehe.

Thing is - if we are willing to up the bid at the end, why not just do it to begin with and walk away right? Cause that would take away alllllll the fun wouldn't it....

i'm laughing...because that's exactly what i did! i wasn't bidding for the fun of it - i wanted a big cat tree for a good price! i decided, based on shipping, what my top bid would be, & bid that amount. it took about 2 weeks before i got a tree, but that was ok because i wasn't in a hurry.

Oh I'm much to impatient for that! It just wracks my nerves! I didn't want to bid my top bid right away, because then when I outbid everyone, it might give someone else the chance to outbid me!

I'd heard people mention that seller on here before so I knew I wanted one from them. Made me feel better about getting something I couldn't 'see' with my hands ya know? I'm so excited I wish it were here NOW!!!

The cat tree arrived yesterday and DH and I set it up last night. I've been taking tons of pics. I'll post some after we go grocery shopping. (I'm starving and everything I want to cook requires eggs lately!)
