I am so glad to hear that, and I truly hope he does develop a permanent seal.

Patrick is not doing well, though tonight, at last, I think I know why. I cancelled his eye specialist apt. for tomorrow as yesterday I felt he was too weak to go. He went from excellent last Friday, to slowly trailing off from eating, looking unhappy, becoming weaker Monday and Tuesday. His eye..is doing wonderfully well, as best I can tell.

I made an apt. to see his regular vet, hoping we could find the reason for this abrupt downswing, but tonight, as I prepared to give him his sub-q fluids and gave him his pm meds, I saw he is back to some nasal discharge - and that explains his not eating, and not feeling so hot. I am hopeful my vet agrees, and I hope he will be put on a course of Baytril - that is what cleared this up last time.

He is better tonight than he was on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I again, am not sure it is his time to go.
I'll post again tomorrow after his apt. and after I catch up with business stuff that I have for after we get back home.

I hope he gets through this, Pat!

He's certainly a fighter, isn't he? Good luck with getting the new meds sorted and sending many healthy and healing }}}VIBES{{{ Patrick's way!
