What weird things do your cats like to eat

Reilly likes Arrowroot cookies (baby cookies). He'll get right on my lap while I'm eating them and take a bite!

When I was little we used to have a lilac point siamese named Tish...anytime my parents were having a party the guests had to watch their drinks. She would lick the rim of their beer bottle.

Toby loves a few pieces of the leaves off celery.
Tedy will get into the groceries and tear open whole grain bread if we don`t watch him. (He never gets into the white buns....only likes the whole grain...so at least he likes the healthier kind!)
He will also sip diet Pepsi out of your glass if you don`t watch him too.

What DOESN'T Gracie like to eat should be the question. I generally don't let her eat any kind of people food (I'll occassionally give her some cheese) but MAN, she is into everything!

Leo, on the other hand, sticks his cute little nose up at almost everything. Finding commercial CAT foods he likes was hard enough! He'll eat some boiled chicken or milk, but that's as weird as it gets.

My sweet angel Lola used to eat the toppings off of our pizza...and since I don't get cheese on mine...yeah...it was interesting.

Scotch Tape !! And they removed it!!!! I'm impressed.

My parents' cat also likes to lick plastic bags. It's a mystery to me. I had thought for sure that she was the only one with this habit..

Ox love popcorm, fritos, cheetos or any kind of chips or crackers. He will climb on the back of the sofa and tap you on the shoulder wanting his share. Plus of course any seafood and ham. When I'm in the kitchen he stands by one of the cuttin boards hoping I will drop something. Bakker is the only none people food cat. The others will fight for ice cream. Bobs will nosh her way thru and buns or bread or frozen chicken or pork chops.

My new girl, Fluffy, will eat anything she can get hold of. She LOVES maple syrup and oatmeal especially. We have breakfast, and she will go nuts until someone gives her a lick of syrup or lets her lick the oatmeal bowl.

I am a big fan of Diet Mtn Dew, and if I leave my can on the floor, the kitty (I think I've decided to name him Samuel. We'll see if it works out) goes right for it.

I tried to give him some of those Pounce cat treats today, and he looked at me like I was nuts.

hmm.

both Patches & Alley like to eat potato chips..we don't feed them chips
but if one falls on the floor they battle on who get's to eat it lol
then i pick up the chip & throw it away

Mik does the same! And he will lick the cheese from my fingers, too.

I just remembered something else my feline Hoover (JoJo) likes to lick up every so often: Kalamata Olive Hummus. The first time i bought some, she was really curious about it, so I put a tiny bit on my finger and let her investigate. She licked it right up.

Carter is a real omnivore, well...almost!
He licks eggshells (when I bake), eats the newspaper under his dish and last week when I had a croissant for breakfast, he licked all the crumbs *from the floor!*
Whenever we have anything to eat on the table, you need to watch him real closely, or he's eating it within split seconds!!!! Be it sausage of any kind(which he can't have, gets diarrhea from the onion salt),oatmeal or cheesecake, he eats anything that isn't nailed down!
Oh and yesterday he & Laura helped me "clean the oven", that is, she licked the baking sheet and he licked the grease from the paper that had been on the sheet!
She has been drinking the dirty water from under the flower pots and these days I caught her drinking the water in which I had been washing the dishes, eeeeeew!
What weird cats I have...but it's good to know that I'm not the only one

Katie likes cooked plain pasta.

Spaz wolfed down some broccoli the other night.
Her and Ivory both are poptart thieves, and Ivory will steal Oreos if you don't watch them like a hawk.

The other 4 are pretty picky and won't even eat human food.

I found out last night that Harley likes to lick McD's chicken sandwich's - he won't take a bite - but he'll just lick the coating

Kabou likes lettuce, tomatoes and avacado! I don't give her tomatoes anymore since I learned they are toxic to cats. I give her only a tiny piece of avacado since they can cause problems too.

Wow, I just realised what a weird cat Laura is - this morning she helped herself to my cereal bowl (fortunately she just took a sip of milk, so I removed the top spoonful and could continue my meal after that ) and yesterday she had been fighting with Carter when suddenly they stopped and she walked by the cactus and started *EATING THE THORNS*!!!!!!
You know at first I thought she was just using them as toothpicks , but when I looked closer, she had really bitten off the thorns!*shake head in disbelief*
That little devil keeps on amazing us, and I wouldn't want to miss out on her!
