I agree, that doctor doesn't know what he's talking about. Him of all people should know that everyone heals at different rates. Cathi is just taking her time; I'm sure she will open her eyes when you least expect it. In the mean time, tonnes more vibes coming her way.

Is it possible for you to have another doctor there in the hospital look over Cathi's chart? I wish there was more I could do, but I am keeping you all in my prayers.
I would prefer a doctor from another city one the has nothing to do with the local hospiltal the ER doc is the reason she is in there now. He screwed up big time.

sorry just had to vent a little

How did the ER doctor screw it up? I hope you don't mind me asking. I agree, it is time to get another doctor in, but you know how some are, what with their arrogance and all.

She went in at around 2:00 sat afternoon with chest pains they run test but said they couldn't find anything wrong with her and let her go home at 5:00 shortly after that she had a major heart attack. They should have keep her atleast 3 more hours.

Just a nurse's 2 cents worth for you: Absolutely contact another MD and see if he will review the chart. Contact the insurance company if you have to, they may be able to help you with this. Please don't rely on the opinion of one physician.

keeping the prayers and wishes coming at you.

I'm so very sorry for your sister and am sending healing vibes and prayers her way. I'm also 43, so this is really frightening. I would definitely look into having her transferred to a bigger (teaching) hospital if you can (if she is stable enough). 43 is so young. I wonder if she has some other underlying problem. Have you tried playing any music to her?

You are so right. I had chest pains not long ago - the emergency room kept me for far longer than that. 200% get another doctors opinion.

She will pull through, have faith.

I was thinking of you all, all day yesterday, sending many vibes to Cathi.

Cathi will wake up when she's ready - not when she's given a time frame!

I don't think a week is enough time for them to expect her to wake up. She'll wake up when her body is ready to wake up.

I'm still sending my prayers and vibes her way.
