Girls - do you think pink roses for the bouguets would be a good choice...this is bridesmaids dress? (It's more of an a-line and not tight fitting like the pic) light or dark pink? I also thought pink and white tulips would be nice but probably way too expensive for August. Thoughts?

Thanks y'all
Yeah, I'm proud of my Marky-Mark look-alike, hehe. BTW Susan- that picture that you liked is the picture he and I would really like to use for our newspaper announcement!

Susan, that is such a cute bridesmaid dress! I like that shade the way it is, maybe with white or cream-colored flowers? Is your dress white or ivory? What flowers are YOU carrying! Your bridesmaid flowers should be complementary though not the same.

My dress is white so I will be carrying the same thing as them, just a little bigger bouquet...I want kinda that touseled just put together look, like you picked them out of the garden. I'm leaning towards the pink roses but the tulips are so pretty too!!

MORE DECISIONS!!!

We do our tasting at the reception place next week and I just made an appt to taste and pic out our cake!! YUM - CAKE!!!

I saw the think but didn't and won't click it.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't want to see your dress until the wedding day.

Hi ladies,
How are your wedding plans coming along? Has everyone decided on a honeymoon location yet?
Also, how many of y'all are having assigned seats at the reception? I am so torn on whether or not to do that; half of my friends tell me it's a lifesaver and half of my friends say it's not worth the hassel. What do y'all think about designating reception tables/seats?

At all the wedding's I've been at (cousins, relatives, friends) They always have assigned seating - mostly by families and such. I think its a lifesaver! That way no one is fighting over seating and you know where you're supposed to sit!

I'm not getting married (I WISH!) but I think its a good idea, just from a wedding go-ers point of view!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Oh yes, unfortunately I'm only ever a guest at weddings
and I think I'd panic slightly if my seat wasn't already chosen. Theres always going to be someone who ends up alone and not sitting with people they want to. If you assign the seats it's easier for the guests.

Tara, do you already have a dress? If not, have you looked at the maternity wedding dresses (yup, they do exist!)?
