The game of the week was TCU beating the Oklahoma Sooners. I'm still in shock, Adrian Peterson (RB) didn't play good either. I didn't get to see the game because I still have no cable thanks to Hurricane Katrina. (Comcast has yet to fix it)

Tenn. vs UAB was another good game, I think the Vols are overrated. (sorry Meagan) Tenn. should of crush UAB, and they barely beat them.

I just got back from Tally, went to see my canes lose to the seminoles.

It was the first time they beat us in six years. Both teams had new quaterbacks, but Miami's O line was horrible. They allowed 9 sacks, poor Kyle I'm surprised he didn't go to the hospital. The field goal kicker was bad too, he missed two field goals. He's clutch, I even call him money, but he didn't have it last night. Oh well, I hope we make it to the ACC championship, and get to play Florida State again (if they make it).

Oh by the way, Miami has the best fighting song!

You should have seen the people leaving Norman after the game... their OU flags not flying so high... people sobbing in their vehicles... I still cant believe they lost either, but I dont really care. Never been a big OU fan.

I would have loved to see that,

you don't know how much I enjoy seeing them lose.

I always thought that you were a sooner. Vols fans are very nice, I hope they beat Florida. I hate them too!

I used to work at OU (for all their sports events) and I would always go to work wearing either an OSU shirt or Tennessee Jersey. That always drew some nasty comments and looks.

Under rare circumstances I will cheer for OU, depending on how much I like the team they are playing.

I was at a game my sophmore year and one of the mean TN fans SPIT on me (I guess because I was dressed head-to-toe in red and black)!!

So naturally that peppered my views a bit!

I know Rutgers has improved their talent pool in recent years, but I'm not sure if that will mean much unfortunately. They've improved since I graduated, but I won't hold my breath for an appearance in a bowl game, lol.

In 1990, some of the Tenn fans at the game were mocking the fact that UF had recently lost 5 students to a serial killer. They had a nice little chant going about how at least their students don't get killed.
