When I read the opening thread I thought it was kind of misleading. Jerry sounds like a beer drinker.
I like the last comment too.

we have actually managed to obtain a pretty fantastic well stocked bar full of all kinds of goodies. Why?
well, when we have parties we buy booze, or people buy booze and bring it over, but we really aren't big drinkers and basically dont drink it any other time, so since college we have just been collecting...

we have a red wine collection that would knock your socks off

Just kidding. Bradley's a Type 1 Diabetic (pump patient) but that doesn't stop him from enjoying a beer or 4 every night. I'll usually have a couple of beers on the weekend and some wine when we go out to dinner. Since finishing college, I've mellowed out drastically and only go out with the intent of PARTYING about 2-3 times/year. I'm a snore at the age of 25!
glad its not just me!! Lord, sometimes we just look at each other while we fall asleep *exhausted* at 11:00 on friday night and wonder what happened to us (i'm 23, he's 26)
I'm like, shouldn't we be doing jello shooters or something??

Hubby and I are party poopers!!! We never really go out to bars or anything. A wild night is going to Applebees and he gets a beer and I get a margarita or something.
Occasionally friends will come over for a bbq and well have a beer or something. But then we're in bed by 11. Heck, we're in bed at 9 on weeknights. What a life I lead at 24.

Lol! Actually, it works out pretty good, I seem to be losing my taste for donuts and other fried or baked sweets!!!
It has gotten to where the smell of donuts actually nauseates me! Was talking on another thread, and I have actually lost around 8 lbs since we opened it!

My dad's business just got into wine and have a reallllllly awesome selection. The group they went through to get it sends a guy down to the area the business is in, the guy then goes to all stores in the area that carry wine, and he then makes sure that the business (my dad's in this case) has NONE of what everyone else has! So, everything at my dad's place is a different brand, variety, or flavor than anywhere else in the entire Daytona Beach area...which I think is pretty cool! My brother owns part of the business as well and before they got the wine in he went up to Philly for some lessons on wine and now knows more than any one person should. I haven't gotten my hands on any of it yet, but over the summer I intend on selecting a few bottles to bring home (after all, it's free for me)!
