Woah, good random question. I dig those, thanks!
It's so funny you should ask that because I've been going through that whole battery of tests with an allergist (you know, the injections under the skin, CT Scan, the back raking, etc. - no fun!) to find out what my allergies are- only to find out that I suffer from NON-allergic rhinitis. The symptoms of it are the same as if I did have allergies, so now I'm on Allegra just like everyone else!
But I do have one real allergy- sulfa, which is a component of some meds. That's it though (knock on wood!).

Have you seen BNL live? (they are AMAZING - I have seen them 3 times, they rock!)

I'm not sure if anyone asked this yet: do you have a fav. BNL song or album?

Great to know people actually read these, hehe

I'll start with my usual questions...

1) Who is your favorite author? (if you like to read)
2) What is your favorite craft/hobby?
3) If a genie granted you 3 wishes, what would they be?

And on another note...are those grey pointy shoes painful? They're nice but when I look at them my feet hurt!!!
1. I LOVE to read. My favorite authors are Wally Lamb (He wrote my fave book, "She's Come Undone") and Richard Leighton, who wrote some incredible suspense/ horror books.
2. My favorite craft is scrapbooking. I'm working on a scrap book right now for my little brother for his college graduation. My favorite hobby is collecting moose stuff...I can't tell you how many meese I have now!
3. My 3 wishes would be this: For Bradley's diabetes and subsequent health problems to disappear forever, a different Administration than the current one in the US, and an end to all forms of domestic violence/child abuse/animal abuse. 3 things that, unfortunately, are most likely not in the cards

I'm one of those odd people who never remember their dreams, so I can't really give a great answer. I did have a dream that Bradley was dating my ex-fiance's new wife. That was an odd one!

3. Do you read magazines?

Thanks Susan

1. In college, I was in a sorority, so life was like one long girly night! We'd go out to dinner, do karaoke, hit the bars, etc. My girlfriends (none of which I'm too-too close to) here in Savannah run in different circles, so normally we do group things with our S/Os. My best friend in the world (who lives about 2 hours from me) do girly trips together once a year. This year we're going to Tampa for a few days and it'll no doubt rock
Sounds like you and your friends really live it up in the UK though!

2.I try to keep my apt. clean as possible. I vacuum once-twice per week, make the bed before leaving in the morning, and clean my glass-top coffee table daily! I also keep the cat's litter boxes clean and sweep up Cosette's kicked-out litter on an almost hourly basis when I'm home b/c it gets so bad!

3. I love magazines. I have subscriptions to Entertainment Weekly, Glamour, and-yes-Cosmo. Sorry y'all, I have to indulge in less-scholarly reading from time-to-time!!!
4. As for cocktails, I like mojitos and cosmopolitains. But normally I'm a beer gal

Hey again Amy! I just thought of some more...

1. If you could have ANY stereotypical superpower, what would it be?
2. What would your superhero name be?
3. Do you like to go to any Cardio Kickboxing/Step/Spinning classes or just stick to doing cardio on your own?
4. Do you like to go to any muscle strengthening/endurance classes or just stick to handling that on your own?
5. What time do you have to wake up for work?
6. Can you remember the nastiest thing you've ever eaten?

That's it for now again. I'm just going to keep coming up with questions all week long I'm sure though so look out!!!

Your fridge looks like MINE! Loads of condiments and beverages and not much else!
I'm guessing you're a fan of take out?

I have a question for you... You never struck me as the sorority type, but seeing as you were, did you and your sorority ever put on events to raise money for charity?

1. Flying! I have no fear of heights whatsoever and it'd be so cool to be able to fly...especially with gas prices the way they are these days!

2. Super Aimes! (Not very creative, but that's what my friends already call me)
3. I used to go to step classes when I was a member of the YMCA in high school! I absolutely loved it! Also, my mom teaches water aerobics, so I've been in her class a few times. I LOOOOOOOOVE kickboxing and own all the Tae Bo tapes. Hiiiiiiiiiiii-yah!

4. Pretty much do the endurance training myself, though I did enjoy doing that through Pilates.
5. Ugh....worst time of day.....6:30....though my sweet alarm named Eponine usually takes it upon herself to wake me up at around 6:20

6. Nastiest thing I've ever eaten....oh easy: FISH!!!!!
Fun questions! Thanks Katherine

2. Fave character??
3. What was your fav. song in Rent? ( I saw this in London and boy did I bawl at the end!!!) Without You makes me tear up still!!!
4. What is your dream job?
Oh Beth...too easy!!!! THANK YOU for some easy ones!!!!!

1. On My Own, Eponine's big heartbreaker. Everyone can relate to its message of unrequited love. Sigh
(Though the whole soundtrack is phenomenal!)
2. EPONINE
3. Probably "Out Tonight", which is Mimi's big solo. I also love "I'll Cover You" because it's a very simple and sweet love song. (Though, again, all of the songs are incredible!) BTW Beth, I am so jealous you saw this in London! And "Without You" gets me too; it's wonderfully beautiful and traaaaaaaaagic!

4. Well, I've mentioned being an attorney or working with big cats previously on this thread....but my ultimate, #1, absolutely perfect dream job would be performing on Broadway, either as "Eponine" or "Cosette" in Les Miserables or "Mimi" in Rent!

Ooooooh, a BNL theme! Awesome

Never ever seen them live. POUT! I am so jealous of you Beryl!!!
They're on my dream list though!
My favorite albums of theirs are "Gordons" and "Rock Spectacle." I play RS every time I'm moving into a new place (odd tradition, I know). My favorite songs by them are "Old Flag" (about domestic violence, of all things) and "The Old Apartment"- great rock song. I also LOVE "Jane."

Oh Jenn you know it! I'm trying to be more "domestic" though and have mastered a couple of yummy meals
My specialty, though, are desserts. I'd love to work at Cindy's bakery if ever I were to move to Jasper, AL!

Funny you should ask that! First of all, THANK YOU for saying I didn't strike you as the sorority type
I strive NOT to fit that stereotype! Actually, my sorority was the anti-sorority. We had a lot of down-to-earth, smart girls who were not necessarily the richest or prettiest girls on campus- and we liked it that way! NO cookie-cutter chicks in the DG house!
My sorority is Delta Gamma (2nd largest in the country!) and our philanthropy is Service for Sight, which assists the visually impaired (a cause very close to my heart since I'm almost legally blind!). My senior year, I was Director of Anchor Tee-Off. That was our annual golf tournament that raises money for Service for Sight. The year I was director, we raised about $10K and it was awesome!
Great question Jenn (you smart chick, you!
)- philanthropy is wonderful!!!

LOL, glad you like my monster feet Fran!

Nope, no lava lamp. And nope, no rock lamp (not really sure what that is
)
I have a couple of Broadway posters framed on my walls (from Miss Saigon and Les Mis) as well as a couple of black and whites of Eponine and pic of my father with JFK. I also have a few paintings and wall hangings that I picked up during my travels.
On my counter tops I have a microwave, toaster oven, knife block, a spice rack, a dishrack, and a recipe box. On the bar (behind the sink) I have some really funky champagne flutes, a decorative chili pepper bottle, and a pretty hand-painted sangria pitcher.
I love love LOVE me some chicken and I like my eggs scrambled.
How often do I use the bathroom? Hehe, depends on what I've had to eat! LOL. Since I drink so much Diet Coke though, I end up going times/day. Us women are not known for having large bladders!

Cool questions Fran!
