Yup! Though I haven't seen one, or heard of one around, there is a drive through drink place... not sure if they sell liquor, but I know that there ARE drive through liquor stores! It's really weird, too! They crack down on drunk drivers, which, don't get me wrong, I believe is wonderful, but, then they temp them by giving them drive through liquor stores!?Originally Posted by Leli
I am 51% Dixie, "barely in the Dixie category".....which is surprising, because I'm not even american!
Seriously, was the drivethru liquor store question a joke, or do you guys (note: not y'all lol) actually have those??
Same here. I have my Pittsburgh "ants" and my Boston "awnts". I must have picked it up from my parents.Originally Posted by gemlady

Here is a fun little quiz to test your English and examine the terms you use and in which area are they popular and commonly used.
The only area I've ever heard of having one here in Florida is in Tallahassee. I'm sure there's others elsewhere, but that's all I've heard of!Originally Posted by CJandBilly

There is one in Winter Haven... called Beverage Castle, but I don't think they sell liquor. Well, I'm not sure. I don't know at all.Originally Posted by katspixiedust

Oh, we have them. They are called Brew-Thru's. There are some right along the outerbanks. I stopped at one in nagshead when I went on vacation last year.Originally Posted by Leli
