I just watch what I eat, and exercise every evening after work. I dont know if its really necessary...I am still the same size I was when I was in high school. I graduated 4 years ago.
So, I guess thats a good thing.

I can pretty much eat what I like and be fine. It seems that I get my metabolism from my dad's mother. She would always joke that she could eat a horse and not put on a pound. My weight has always fluctuated up and down between 10 pounds really easily and I've always been very thin. I like to work out a lot though because it's not just weight that makes you feel good or bad about yourself, but your overall body appearance. I like to try to keep things toned. AND, I decided that getting into a rigid exercise plan now is smart in case I'm one of those people who magically starts putting on the pounds at 30!!!!!!!!

I'm fairly tall also, and you guys should SEE this one pic I have of me from 6th grade. It's just so funny. I thought it was pretty cute back then, but it turns out that I hadn't yet grown into myself and was just the GANGLIEST thing. I look like I have monkey limbs I swear. Tall, skinny, with excessively long arms and legs. Thank god I grew into all that (at leas I think...eep)!!!

Ah I remember the days of being able to eat anything without gaining a pound fondly, then I hit twenty-six or so and suddenly I have to watch what I eat or I'll put on weight it sucks. I excercise but even that doesn't seem to help much, of course that could be because I love food.

I don't hate you for your metabolism, I love you both too much for that,

but ENVY is a whole other ballgame! I think I can just look at food and gain weight. Doesn't help that hub is an awesome cook, I'm a dedicated foodie, and I'd rather do anything than walk to lose weight (What I really want is a Bowflex).

I've actually been losing weight recently with diet and exercise, but the second I slip up on my eating the scale goes right back up. And I work out an hour and a half a day, five days a week. Yeah, I'm bitter. I'll never be able to eat more than 1500 calories for the rest of my life.

I'm one of the ones who has a high metabolism. I'm turning 33 tomorrow and so far, it's not slowed one bit. I don't eat whatever I want, actually I am very disciplined in what I do eat. I only drink water & avoid fried food (except for during festivals). I exercise & walk A LOT. I also sweat a lot & don't feel the cold (I guess cuz of the high metabolism).

And yah there is such a thing as being 'too skinny', I got sick and dropped 10 pounds in 2 weeks from dehydration & fever. I looked HORRIBLE, like a victim of a concentration camp. The only place that didn't lose weight was my butt.

I have a very high metabolism!! At 26, I've been told that what I eat will catch up to me. So, like Ryan, I'm waiting...

I do stay very active though as a member of a competive outrigger paddling club in Northern California. Keeps me busy burning between 1000-1400 calories three times a week when we're in season (april-october).

Some say I eat like a bird. (A large carniverous bird)
